Comfortable stay with lovely breakfast

The location was pretty good, just a short walk to the main sights. The bed was super comfy, and I loved the heated towel rail in the clean bathroom. Breakfast was definitely the highlight – I got the full Scottish, and it was fantastic! The only hitch was the lounge area, a bit worn and needing some TLC.

The hotel's honesty bar was super fun, and the cosy lounge made for a great evening hangout with fellow guests.

Felt like it was our own home, no complains at all.

I had a lovely stay with a pleasant lobby area and a great walk into town, making it so simple to explore all the attractions like the Royal Mile and Calton Hill, truly embracing the city's vibrant atmosphere as I strolled along the streets.

The location was convenient, just a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, and surrounded by many bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and quite accommodating, ensuring a smooth stay. However, breakfast felt chaotic with too many guests for the space, leading to long wait times. The breakfast itself was underwhelming. the bacon sandwich lacked butter, and the sausage option was low quality. Additionally, rooms had noise issues, which could disturb light sleepers.

Loved the easily accessible eateries nearby! We hit up Hanks Sandwich Bar for a cheeky bite and enjoyed a lively evening at Badabing Live Music Bar & Steakhouse. Plus, the quiet lounge area was a gem for grabbing a drink and unwinding...
